New Avatar Presenter Service

CDproject announced their new Avatar Presenter today. For the first time, it is possible to incorporate full size, synchronised, animated figures into any corporate presentation. The service develops customised videos which can be inserted directly into Powerpoint, Macromedia Director or other presentation programs.

The basic avatar character can be chosen from a selection of male, female or multiracial types. Stylised clothing can also be selected. As with other high-end 3D models the figure can realistically walk, sit, hold and point. A soundtrack is recorded using a live or synthesised voice - again this can be decided by the client. Software automatically synchronises the models head and mouth movements to the soundtrack - and this results in the final video.

Avatar presenters are wholly reliable. Once a basic design is established, they can be recalled at any time to feature in company presentations. Their behaviour and appearance are consistent. As well as 'standalone' supply, avatars can also be incorporated in complete presentations for clients.

Animated Graph Service

CDproject announced their new Animated Graph Service today. The high production value chart graphics normally only seen on broadcast television are now available for insertion directly into Powerpoint, Macromedia Director or other presentation programs.

As well as traditional display formats, any custom objects can be specified as data display elements. Chart's are animated to customer requirements. Ahead of traditional static images, these charts are developed to synchronise with a dynamic presentation. They can be programmed to grow, zoom, turn, stop and start according to the speakers script.

Animated Charts are available on a 24 hour turnaround and are a readily accessible way of jazzing up corporate presentations.

Letter-ROM puts a new spin on marketing.

Letter-ROMs are multimedia rich, three-inch CD-ROMs, small enough to be enclosed with a standard letter. This miniature format fits the smaller, inner recess found on all standard computer CD trays. Each disc can include over twenty minutes of sound and video or comprehensive, interactive presentations. (The equivalent capacity of a hundred traditional floppy discs).

Product brochures, catalogues or directories, can be programmed onto a Letter-ROM. The discs are typically formatted to run cross-platform - all Windows and Mac systems - ensuring that over 95% of computers equipped with a CD-ROM drive can run them. Functionality depends entirely on customer requirements and budget so existing text and graphics can be re-purposed to achieve cost effective new media solutions.

CDproject develops bespoke multimedia applications for business, typically as diskettes or CD-ROMs. Complete Letter-ROM packages start from under £2,000 and a turnaround of weeks, not months.

Digital Postcards - Off the shelf new media for direct marketing.

CDproject develops bespoke multimedia applications for corporate clients and agencies - typically as floppy disks or CD ROMs.

Whilst many of these require intensive programming, certain creative briefs have come up over and over again. As a result, we have identified a portfolio of floppy based solutions aptly named Digital Postcards®. These can combine a number of proven techniques which are rapidly assembled with client’s text and graphics to produce cost effective new media solutions.

Digital Postcards® may be be as simple as a self running slide show or a promotional screen saver. Graphic animation and hyper linked text can help to explain products. Dedicated on-screen calculators substantiate savings or costs. Sound or video add impact. With careful design, Digital Postcards® can also include entire product catalogues, directories and associated printouts.

This efficient design process also means that development times are cut to a matter of weeks not months. Digital Postcards® have been developed for companies such as Yamaha, Dolby, Canon, ICL, IDV, Mitsubishi and Miller Freeman.
